Our zines function as a way for us to communicate with our peers about our anxieties, identities and trauma. At the same time they help us deal and heal with our problems through reminders of self love. We take elements of popular culture to give difficult topics a more accessible.

How do you feel that are zines important in terms of independent media and publishing?

There not many spaces where people can freely and openly express themselves directly. Zines offer the opportunity to give a direct voice to marginalized people, who often do not have a voice heard in mainstream media. They are accessible in terms of money, artistic, and directions to make them open to interoperation of the person who is making them . This allows a free dialogue between people.
