Our zines capture our perspectives of our own personal ethnicities and our interests in subcultures. This includes works relating to finding clippings from our culture's newspapers and other prints, photography, poetry, and collage work. Orange Radio not only serves as an audio documentary of the community, but we enjoy making printed goods to share as well!

When did you start making zines ... and why?

We started off as a radio station, and soon began DJ'ing and providing music for art fairs and festivals. We found ourselves working with a handful of amazing visual artists, which lead us in providing a service where we publish and help curate printed goods and zines for our fellow friends!

What is your favorite part of making zines?

Our favorite part in making zines is witnessing the entire process follow through. From idea to product. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing one's work start as a topic of conversation, then turn into a few pages of brainstorming ideas. Following up, seeing it become binded, and having others pick up these zines and smile according to how they can relate to it, is extremely gratifying.

Is there anything else you want people know about you or your zines?

We are an open community striving to help anyone and everyone that is willing to push their own personal craft! We aim to provide a safe space to let artists do absolutely whatever they want under our publishing. We only seek to push the craft of the community forward and to grow with one another
