Logo/Graphic

Each of my zines are a collection of illustrations inspired by science fiction, fantasy, comic books, movies, and cartoons, playing with cyberpunk and wasteland themes. Each illustrated page is either a full figure, portrait, or drawn in a comic book page format that provide loose narratives that engage the reader to interpret what's depicted in each page.

What is your biggest challenge in making zines?

Fold the sheet four times. Make sure the creases are perfect and that the folds are lined up. Open up the page to cut a slit in the middle. Re-fold the page to the zine format. Flatten the zine as best as possible. Move onto the next sheet.

What is your favorite part of making zines?

Zines allow me to share what I've created with a community that appreciates self-published and self-expressed content.

Because zines are as such, there are no restrictions to follow a standard format; as artists, we can play and experiment with the format, provide non-narrative stories, to engage and interact with each viewer in a non-traditional sense.
