We're a four person art collective that emphasizes on creating one of a kind zines featuring our photography, words, and illustrations. Each member has their own distinct style and template to present. We've been making zines for the last 10 years and we continue to push the boundaries we know and make something new and unique. This year we will produce a whole new set of film photography zines.

The zines that I create are tend to be autobiographical because I want to share my personal experiences of being a Central American weirdo. I will be sharing a recently self-published comic and an illustration zine that talks about identity politics and using positive affirmations to uplift the different kinds of Central American femmes and women I have encountered with.
|Center Art||Los Angeles|
I explore a lot in my work but try as much as I can to highlight image based narrative over text based to open to a larger group. Discussing humor, character, and sometimes sex positivity. More than anything I strive for my content to be relatable. I also strive to push the limits of paper and riso graph trying to incorporate pop ups of as I mentioned before non text based narrative.
|Christina Tran||San Diego|
I make comics about life, love, and loss -- which I have compiled into single story zines (e.g. "Release" about how we store trauma in our bodies and how we must shake it out, or "Aging" about how ghosts too can age) and diary comic zines ("Here and Now" compiling comics about home, activism, and the first 100 days). I also have a photography+letters zine called "Dear Daughter".
Most of my zines are fun and handmade. I use a wide variety of print techniques from silkscreen, risograph, and transparency printing to bring something special them. All of my zines and handmade books have small print runs from 50-250.

Growing up, I rarely saw portrayals of people in cartoons, TV, comics, event art, who looked like me. When I started making art, I told myself that I would make art that would change that.
