What are your current zines about?

Autobiographical comics, black and brown people, people of color and the political climates we live in and through. Uplifting illustrations and words. Anti patriarchy, anti racism, anti misogyny. All that good stuff.

When did you start making zines ... and why?

Freedom and to tell my own stories.

How do you create your zine content?

I draw, write, color and design it all.

Why do you think independent publishing is important?

Because it gives people who's voices are stomped out in the mainstream a place to belong and have their stories heard and seen.

What does the future of zines and independent publishing look like to you?

Freedom. Revolution.

What was your first zine called? What was it about?

Lawrence Lindell, it was a mini illustration Zine and it came with music.

What is your favorite part of making zines?

The freedom and connection.

What is your biggest challenge in making zines?

Nothing, that's why I love it. I'm completely free to do as I please.

They are made for the people and backed by the people.
