Illustrations of plants and people and trippy stuff. My new Zines will include an intro to permaculture and a comic about a group of friends, a mutant seed, and a plot to destroy a dull, outdated workplace.

What are your current zines about?

One is about gardening and planting things and trying to live closer with the natural world. The other is a kinda comic zine about a person finding this rare seed that has cool powers.(secret and in the works still)

What methods do you use to make your zine?

  • Handwritten/drawn
  • Cut-and-paste
  • Photocopying
  • Screenprinting
  • Other

What type of binding do you use for your zine(s)?

  • Stapled
  • Saddlestitched

When did you start making zines ... and why?

I started making zines when I was 16. It was a really easy way to physically share my art with other people. I would hand them out everywhere to anybody and leave them different places for people to find.

How do you create your zine content?

I either have a rough draft zine that I write and draw directly in and make copies of that or I just physically copy and paste drawings

Why do you think independent publishing is important?

It's a lot more interesting for one thing. It's personal and it's passionate. It's out of control in the best way.

What is your favorite part of making zines?

Binding them all up and holding a big bundle of zines. The best feeling.
